This policy explains how Devculi handles information when you use CastSound on mobile, desktop, or this website.

Information we handle

CastSound processes microphone sound and computer sound to deliver it to a device you choose. We do not intentionally record or retain that audio. The apps also handle device names, connection addresses, security credentials, trusted-device records, connection times, app settings, and permission state so the service can connect and reconnect.

We may process diagnostic and product-usage information such as app version, operating system, device model or class, language, network address, device or user identifiers made available by the platform, feature interactions, session timing, performance traces, error details, stack traces, breadcrumbs, and technical logs. Error reports can include personal information if it appears in the application context or information submitted with a support request. We do not intentionally include audio content, pairing credentials, address-book content, or precise location in diagnostics or product analytics.

How we use information

We use information to provide requested audio and connection features, remember trusted devices, protect CastSound from abuse, diagnose failures, measure reliability and feature usefulness, provide support, comply with law, and improve the apps and website. Where required, we ask permission before using non-essential analytics or similar measurement tools.

Website visits

This website does not use advertising or behavioral analytics cookies. Our configured website host, Firebase Hosting (Google), may process connection information such as an IP address and request time to deliver and protect the site.

Service providers and sharing

Information may be disclosed to the paired device you choose; vendors that provide hosting, diagnostics, analytics, security, support, communications, or payment processing; professional advisers; authorities when legally required; or a successor involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We require service providers handling user information for us to use it only for the relevant service and provide protections consistent with this policy and applicable platform requirements.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. Information handled by providers may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to safeguards required by applicable law. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Permissions

Microphone access is used when you choose to speak through the phone. Local-network and Wi-Fi access help find and connect your devices. Notifications and background-audio access keep an active connection visible and working when supported by your device.

Retention and deletion

Remembered-device information remains on your device until you remove trusted devices, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Provider-held diagnostics and measurement information is generally retained for 90 days, unless a longer period is required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can deny permissions, disconnect devices, remove trusted devices, clear local app data, or uninstall CastSound. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent for information associated with you. See Your privacy choices or contact us. We may need to verify a request and may retain information when law permits.

Children

CastSound is not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their country. If you believe a child provided personal information contrary to applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when CastSound, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
